Education: I received a B.S. from University of Dallas (2019) in Physics summa cum laude, with an Applied Mathematics concentration, a M.S. from Rice University (2021) in Physics, and a PhD from Rice University (2024) in Physics.

Teaching: I have tutored privately for over ten years in physics, algebra, calculus, chemistry, Latin, and writing essays for courses. I was professionally employed as a teaching assistant of undergraduates from 2017-2020.

Writing: I am a published author on a number of scientific peer-reviewed papers, an award-winning magazine essay writer, and nominated for the Wilson Award for outstanding doctoral dissertation by Rice University. I have written multiple research proposals (all of which have been awarded,) including to the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and Rice University. As an editor of a university Journal of Science, I have edited and written a number of topical articles on scientific advancements. I have written college applications that have been accepted at dozens of universities, including MIT, Rice University, UT Austin, and Notre Dame. I have edited a number of students’ essays and personal statements for fellowships, awards, undergraduate, graduate, and medical school applications.

Awards: I have received numerous awards (please see my CV for full details), including for my writings, research presentations, a full-ride scholarship to a private university, two prestigious graduate fellowship awards, and in grants to support my research and outreach efforts.

Personal: I now reside in Little Rock, AR with my husband and two sons. My passion is for giving students the tools that work for them to convey complex ideas, solve hard problems in math and science, and ultimately achieve their educational goals, be it to win the award, to ace their hardest class, or to score a spot in their dream college.
